2022 Fall Girls Junior Lacrosse

We're excited to offer for the first time Girls Junior Lacrosse at United Wholesale Mortgage Sports Complex every Wednesday from September 14th - October 19th, 2022.
The program is non-contact and skill-based, teaching kids respect, responsibility, and character through non-competitive lacrosse and the national lacrosse curriculum.
What your child will get out of lacrosse:

  1. Discovery: Your child will have the opportunity to develop basic movement skills like running, jumping, landing, kicking, scooping, throwing, and catching in a fun setting, built around informal play and positive reinforcement.
  2. Fundamentals: Will allow your child to develop their movement ABCs — agility, balance, coordination, and speed — and learn the basics of the game while emphasizing fun, cooperation, and maximum touches with the ball. Kids sample lots of different physical activities and sports.
  3. Foundations: This is the “golden age” of learning and sport skill development. Children become less self-centered and are able to reflect on their actions and learn from their mistakes. This is the optimal time to learn and build a large repertoire of lacrosse-specific skills and learn the basic principles of play in a fun, challenging environment.

Our programs operate with capacity limitations to ensure the safety and specialized attention for our participants. Before registering for a PAL Program, please take a look at your schedule and only enroll in programs that you are able to attend on a regular basis, so that we can continue to serve as many interested children as possible. If you have questions on scheduling or need to unenroll your child in a program for any reason, please contact Jay at [email protected] or Coach Melanie at [email protected]
